“The fact is that more people have been slaughtered in the name of religion than for any other single reason. That, that my friends, that is true perversion!”
The Fall – Part Two
Eve and Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of
Good and evil
And were said to have fallen
And there was morning, and there was evening, another day
Eve and Adam learned they were naked and clothed themselves
Into the world came the difference between
Naked and nude
And there was morning, and there was evening, a day passes
David and Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of
A brand-new evil
And were said to have fallen further
And there was morning, and there was evening, a day begins
David and Adam learned they could love, and loved each other
Into the world came the difference between
Nude and lude
And there was morning, and there was evening, the light fades
Eve and Adam were expelled from Eden
And suffered hardship for their sin
David and Adam were expelled yet again
And suffered hardship but knew not their sin
And there was morning, and there was evening, darkness rules
A son of God is said to have come and died for the sins of
Eve and Adam so they could be forgiven
David and Adam are dying from their sin
But no one has said they are forgiven
And there was morning, and there was evening, perhaps the last day
