"A conversation is a dialogue, not a monologue. That's why there are so few good conversations: due to scarcity, two intelligent talkers seldom meet." – Truman Capote.

“When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? Perhaps to be too practical is madness. To surrender dreams — this may be madness. Too much sanity may be madness — and maddest of all: to see life as it is, and not as it should be!”
~Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, Don Quixote

Carl Josehart is a social worker, aspiring poet and writer seeking social change, diversity, equal rights, equal access & equal opportunity. I believe in fostering respectful public debate to encourage diversity, acceptance and social change.

This blog is an experiment in sharing my thoughts, ideas and struggles. It is meant to be a safe place to encourage experiencing a viewpoint that may be different from your own.

My goal is not to necessarily change any minds but to perhaps contribute to the process of opening minds.

I believe that the more that we can experience the world through the eyes of another the more civil our society can become.
